Membership Requirements

New & Used Vehicles

When you're ready to hit the road in a new set of wheels, make SEG Federal Credit Union your first stop. Financing a vehicle involves various factors, including your credit history, the vehicle's year and make, and the terms of the loan. Before you start shopping around, consider reaching out to one of our representatives for pre-approval and expert guidance. This step can streamline your car-buying experience and give you a clear understanding of your budget and options.

If you're not already a member of SEG, don't worry! We welcome non-members, but we'll need a few documents to get started. Please be prepared to provide a copy of your current state or government-issued photo ID for verification purposes. Additionally, we'll need your two most recent months of pay stubs to assess your income and financial stability.

If you're purchasing from a private seller, please include a copy of the title with your application. For purchases from a dealership, include a copy of the purchase agreement. These documents help us ensure a smooth and efficient loan process, so you can focus on finding the perfect vehicle without any hassle.
