One thing that always stays the same is change. This is very true for credit unions. We are constantly reviewing our existing policies and procedures to make sure that we are complying with laws and regulations, while be bombarded with the need to establish new policies. We also have to make changes to existing policies in order to better serve our membership as a whole.
Many times we hear from our members that “I have always done it this way.” Unfortunately with the world evolving like it is, we are not always able to keep things status quo. This is not a punishment to our members, but truly a way to keep everyone’s best interests safe and secure.
